Worcestershire Health & Social Care Awards 2023
We are delighted to announce that one of our foster families has been selected as finalists in the Child & Adolescent Health Care Award category at the Worcestershire Health & Social Care Awards 2023. Andrea and Aiden have shown incredible commitment and compassion, providing exceptional care and support to a child during a challenging period. Their dedication in helping to create a better future for young individuals has not gone unnoticed. We couldn’t be prouder of them!
The Big Shout Out 2023
A massive thank you to everyone who attended The Big Shout Out event on 15th July and made it the successful day for our children that it was. Torrential rain and thunderstorms had been forecast but a hardy bunch turned out, intent on enjoying the events of the day. Luck seemed to be smiling on us, and despite a downpour at lunchtime, all activities went ahead as scheduled, including archery, zip-lining, the 3G swing and an outdoor climb. Unfortunately, the outdoor swim at the end of the day was rained off, but no one seemed to mind as families began their journeys home with happy, exhausted children!
Celebrating achievements
Please join us in celebrating the successes and achievements of our children and young people, which include:
- One young person achieved red belt in martial arts and coming 5th in his year for English writing
- Another young person for achieving a Bronze Award for his performance at Sports Day
- A Magnificent Diamond Award achieved by one of our children
- One young person attaining a Maths Award at school
A celebratory recognition award voucher was sent to each of them. We encourage families to celebrate each achievement for our children and young people, creating moments that matter.
