Fi is a qualified and experienced counsellor, psychotherapist, trainer and author. Fi is passionate about helping people to feel safe and lovable through relationships that give them a sense of belonging. Fi is an accomplished, experienced trainer and her course has been rated as 'excellent' by 99.8% of attendees since 2013.

As a foster-adopt parent and the founder of Belong Therapeutic Support, Fi is widely known for her work with parents and professionals in fostering and adoption. She loves working in this area, with fostering and then adopting being one of the best things Fi has ever done, but it has also been her greatest challenge. Therapeutic parenting of children and young people with trauma histories is hard. Belong Therapeutic Support started with a focus on supporting foster and adoptive families with this challenge. Counselling and psychotherapy can be a hugely beneficial part of the support offered within fostering and adoption.

Jane then went to work for the Priory Group, initially in the Healthcare Division, but then moved into a group role relating to service improvement and quality, alongside being the Group Director of Nursing. She was planning on early retirement at the time of Aspris being formed, but was asked to come for a three month period on a part time basis to set up governance systems, and nearly three years later, she is still here!

When not at work, Jane enjoys knitting, music, time with her husband, family and friends and collecting vintage teenage dolls.
